Chris is one of the people that came into my life for this project and who worked their way into my life. She was a feature dancer when I first met her and she toured several strip clubs across the south, south west and even Las Vegas. She hadn’t done any modeling but was a natural in front of the camera.
What neither one of us factored into this shoot, was the torrential rainstorm that blew through Tampa during our shoot. We both got soaked, the camera steamed up, and her shoes got destroyed as the mini flash-flood threatened to sweep us into the nearby Hillsborough River. But trooper that she is, first break in the downpour, she stood there amongst the raindrops and pulled off a winning look for me. We abandoned the shoot moments later as the rain renewed in full force and we beat a retreat to the cars nearby.
"I am seriously soaked. These shoes are done."
