The back streets of Ybor City provide a huge source of different urban settings. The old red-brick and occasional fire escape access, creates a plethora of opportunities for great angles and perspectives. When Steph agreed to let me shoot her as part of this project, I knew this inner-city girl would be comfortable in whatever setting I put her in.
But sticking a book in her hand and asking her to walk ahead of me on one of these fire escapes, was a magical experience. Her anatomy is built for that rear upper view and her legs seem like they go on forever, so the selection of this as the money-shot was easy. She is an amazing model and one that I have known since she turned legal age. But Steph’s only ever semi-nude shoot is this one, so getting her to be part of this project was a major achievement … hence the gold star I am placing on my forehead.
