I had never met Paula before shoot day and this fact alone always presents a comfort challenge. Add in the fact that she brought a chaperone who stood behind me and you might sense that this was unlikely to be a pleasant shoot. But her 5’-11” slim build, and the stark contrast of an innocent face with not-so-innocent wardrobe selection produced some excellent shots by the time all was said and done.
It was a last-minute shoot set up so there was no time for a prior coffee meeting and so I really took a chance that she would be able to produce the look I needed. Sticking her tall frame onto a low level window ledge, as she looked impatiently up the street, proved to be a magic ingredient on a chilly December morning. There was definitely more than just one nip in the air.
